They are both complex, both pathetic in some ways, and very strong in other ways. All that being said, Lotus Petals was a surprisingly enjoyable read for me.Īijyn and Rhiannon seem to be in a no win situation. I’ve read some erotica, and find that a little goes a long way, but I haven’t had the desire to read lesbian erotica. Vampires aren’t my favorite subject and, while I like some historical fiction, the geishas of Japan aren’t my favorite historical fiction subject. This is a difficult book for me to review.
